The universal cutting complex for lightweight concrete "URB 2-27" is designed to cut a mass of lightweight cellular concrete (polystyrene concrete, aerated concrete, foam concrete) into blocks of the same size. In order to obtain a mass, it is necessary to pour a solution of lightweight concrete into a form (consists of a pallet and sides) and wait until it gains formwork strength. After this, it is necessary to remove the sides from the pallet. Next, using a pusher along a rail track, the pallet with the finished mass is rolled under the cutting complex and fixed with stops to eliminate vibrations during the cutting process. The pallet is equipped with wheels, it moves along rails, which simplifies the technological process of block manufacturing. The complex consists of two modules. The first module cuts the hump and makes a transverse cut, the second module makes a longitudinal cut. Sawing is performed using band saws made of wear-resistant steel with carbide tips. On the first module, the saws are fixed on a frame that smoothly (automatically) lowers and rises during the cutting process. The lowering speed of the frame with saws is regulated by a frequency converter, which ensures ideal cutting quality. The standard size of the block obtained after cutting is 600x300x200 mm. It is possible to manufacture the complex for other block sizes, depending on the Customer's tasks.
